The widower, Poem about war: Love is gone without a goodbye

Hello, I am sharing with you a poem about war that I wrote recently and which is close to my heart. It’s called “Love Gone Without a Goodbye” and it tells the story of a widower who lost his wife. He speaks to his son after losing the love of his life in a war.

He expresses his sadness, his guilt and his despair, but also his love, his faith and his hope. He reminds her of the happy memories they shared with the boy’s mother, and promises her that one day they will find her in a better world. This poem is a tribute to all those who suffered and resisted in the face of barbarity and injustice. It is also a message of hope for all those who believe in love and peace.

Text of poem about war and the Widower ”Love is gone without a goodbye’

My little one, love is gone without a goodbye
She suffered in silence
She left us without hope
Dark Hunters with no mercy

Oh my little one, forgive me
We have failed in this world of hatred and contempt
They, the burrowers of dreams
They, the smiths of destiny

My little one, love is gone without a goodbye
But he's not the only one who left us
There are also our friends, our brothers, our sisters
Those who fought alongside us

Oh my little one, cry with me
We lost so much in this war
They, the victims of violence
They, the martyrs of justice

My little one, love is gone without a goodbye
But he didn't leave us alone in the dark
There is also a glimmer of hope shining in the distance
The one who tells us that everything is not over

Oh my little one, dream with me
We still have so much to do in this world
They, the bearers of light
They, the builders of the future.

History and explanation of the poem on the hardly very touching ”Love is gone without a farewell”

This poem is inspired by a true story

This poem is inspired by a true story I heard a few years ago. It’s the story of a couple who lived in a country at war. They had a six-year-old son whom they loved more than anything. One day, the mother was killed by a bomb that exploded near their home. Father and son miraculously survived, but were separated by soldiers who took them to different camps.

The father wrote a letter in his cell for his son

The father wrote this letter on a piece of paper that he managed to pass to his son thanks to a mutual friend. He wanted to tell her how much he loved her and how much he regretted not having been able to protect his mother. He also wanted to give her hope and tell her that one day they would find themselves in a peaceful place where they could be happy.

The son kept the letter as a treasure and read it every day.

It gave him courage and strength to face the horrors of war. He hoped to see his father and mother again in his dreams. One day, the camp where the son was was liberated by rebels who were fighting against the regime in place. The son was taken to a shelter where he met other children who had experienced the same thing as him. He learned that there was still kindness and solidarity in this world.

He also learned that his father was still alive and that he was looking for him. He then decided to go looking for him with the help of one of the rebels who knew his name and face. After several days of traveling, he ended up finding his father in another camp. They recognized each other immediately and threw themselves into each other’s arms. They cried with joy and relief.

They then left the country together with the rebel who had helped them. They moved to a neighboring country where they started a new life. They never forgot the boy’s mother who had loved them so dearly. They paid tribute to her every day by reading the poem that she had inspired them.
